Chapter 344 

Having Allison’s mother taking care of her, Penelope felt a sense of satisfaction. 

“Chicken soup again, I really don’t want it anymore.” Penelope said. 

Grace said, “Miss, chicken soup is very nutritious. You’ve been pregnant for a while now, you can’t just do whatever you want. You need to replenish your nutrition and your foot injury just recovered” 

Grace brought a bowl of chicken soup to Penelope. Looking at her bulging belly, Grace’s eyes were filled with affection. Then she bent down, “Miss, you’re pregnant now. You should avoid wearing high heels.” 

Penelope was sick and tired of hearing this. She didn’t dare to wear high heels at home, nor at the Lindberg family’s. Now that she just put on a pair here, she got lectured right away. She had even thought about aborting her baby multiple times, how could she possibly consider its wellbeing? 

“What’s it to you whether I wear high heels or not? Penelope asked.

Penelope finished the chicken soup and gritted her teeth, “Important? They only care about the baby in my belly, they don’t care about me! If I wasn’t pregnant, the Lindberg family wouldn’t even glance at mel Grace, you better keep an eye on your daughter. If I see Allison flirting with Lucian again, she won’t get away with it!” 

“Allison would never do such a thing “Grace panicked a bit. You must have misunderstood.” 

“You and your daughter, I feel sick just looking at you.” Penelope stood up and looked at Charlie. “Get this woman out, don’t let her dirty my carpet!” 

Grace said, “You’re pregnant now, you should avoid getting angry.” 

Charlie also thought Penelope was being unreasonable, but she was helpless as she was just an employee and had to obey her boss. She could only say to Grace, “Nanny, you better leave for now. You know how Ms. Penelope’s temper is.” 

Grace sighed and then nodded. She began to pack up her thermos. 

At this moment, Penelope’s phone rang. 

Penelope answered the call and said softly, “Mom” 

It was Leah who called. 

Grace paused while packing up the dishes, then she held the handle of the thermos tightly and murmured Leah silently in her heart. 

“Mom, I’m at Epic Entertainment. I’m fine, don’t worry, What, the Lindberg family wants to take me for a prenatal checkup, didn’t we just go half a month ago? We re going again? Okay, I got it.”Penelope said 

After hanging up the phone, Penelope looked up at Grace who was still standing in front of her, “Why are you still here?” 

“You’re going for a checkup. Let me go with you” Grace said. 

Penelope snorted, “This is none of your business.” 

Grace sighed lightly, not sure if it was out of helplessness, guilt or regret, “Allison and I are leaving Northfield next month. You’ll have to take care of yourself” 

Maybe it was because Grace’s voice was full of concern, Penelope glanced at her, saw the concern in her eyes. Suddenly Penelope was taken aback, then her tone was filled with scorn and sharpness, “Without you, can’t I live on my own? In the Flanagan family, you’re just a common servant. You seduced my father, causing my parents to ignore each other till now. And your daughter Allison, she seduced my fiancé You two really are a perfect mother-daughter par
