“I might be a tad jealous, but it doesn’t make me unhappy. Don’t overthink it. I’m not that petty. Whatever you want
to do, as long as it brings you peace of mind, you can do anything. I’ll support you unconditionally.”
Seeing that he didn’t seem to be lying, Neera’s bit of guilt finally dissipated like smoke in the air.
Jean steered the conversation back on track. “Tell me, what’s your next move?”
